More savings available with the new Green Ontario Fund
The Ontario government recently launched the Green Ontario Fund, a program to help you reduce energy use and save money. The new GreenON Rebates are available for a number of energy efficient home renovations, including air source heat pumps.
What does this mean for our customers? As a GreenON participating contractor, Kenetic Energy Ltd can now help you receive even more on eligible air source heat pumps, with rebates up to $5800! Heat pumps are a great heating and cooling option for homes with or without ductwork, and the rebates now apply to households that use electric, oil or propane as the main fuel source.
For homes with existing ductwork:
ENERGY STAR® Ducted Air-Source Heat Pump: $3,250
ENERGY STAR® Cold Climate Ducted Air-Source Heat Pump: $5,500
For homes without existing ductwork:
ENERGY STAR® Ductless Air-Source Heat Pump: $1,900
ENERGY STAR® Ductless Multiport Air-Source Heat Pump: $2,500 for exterior unit and first two interior units plus $250 for each additional interior unit, up to a maximum of $4,250
ENERGY STAR® Cold Climate Ductless Air-Source Heat Pump: $2,500
ENERGY STAR® Cold Climate Ductless Multiport Air-Source Heat Pump: $3,000 for exterior unit and first two interior units plus $400 for each additional interior unit, up to a maximum of $5,800
Looking to upgrade your furnace or central air conditioner? You can still access rebates with the Save on Energy Heating and Cooling Incentive, which continues in partnership with the new GreenON program. With Save on Energy homeowners continue to earn up to $850 in rebates.
$250 when you replace your existing furnace with a new high efficiency furnace equipped with a variable speed ECM
$600 when you replace your existing central air conditioner (CAC) system with, or install a new CAC system that is an ENERGY STAR® certified CAC system that satisfies a minimum seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER) of 18 and a minimum energy efficiency ratio (EER) of 13
